Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how MorphCam ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the MorphCam application and website. By using MorphCam, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

1. Account information: the name, email address, and password you provide when creating an account. Passwords are stored only in encrypted (hashed) form.
2. Date of birth: MorphCam is for adults aged 18 or over, so we ask for your date of birth when you sign up (accounts created before we started asking are asked once). We keep it for as long as your account exists, and only our team can see it. If the date shows you are under 18, we do not store it; we only record that a sign-up was refused.
3. Email verification: we send a one-time 6-digit code to confirm your email address before you can buy credits or stream. The code is valid for 15 minutes, is stored only in a protected (hashed) form, and is deleted once used. We record when your email was verified.
4. Security and fraud-prevention information: the IP address you signed up from (for accounts created since 20 October 2026), and the IP address you last used MorphCam from, which we overwrite when it changes rather than keeping a history. The app also creates a random device ID that stays on your device; we store it with your sign-up and any referral to stop one person creating many accounts. It does not identify you or your hardware. We also log sign-in attempts (the email address, IP address and whether the attempt succeeded) to protect accounts against password-guessing.
5. Transaction information: records of credit purchases, credit usage and streaming sessions (start and stop times, credits used), including cryptocurrency wallet addresses and transaction hashes needed to confirm your payment. We do not store private keys or seed phrases. We do not take card payments, so we hold no card details.
6. Manual payments: if you pay manually, we keep the payment proof you upload (such as a screenshot, transaction hash or bank-transfer reference) in a private folder that only our team can access. For Naira bank transfers, we keep the Naira amount and the exchange rate used on your order, and the receipt you upload. We do not separately store your bank details, apart from what appears on your receipt.
7. Uploaded content: if you upload a character image for transformation, it is used only to provide the transformation and is deleted when your streaming session ends. If a session ends unexpectedly, the image may be kept until we clear it.
8. Technical information: basic information necessary to operate and secure the Service, such as connection logs.
9. Messages we send you: records of the notifications and emails we send you.
10. Partner program information: if you join the partner program, your referral code, the accounts that signed up with it, their purchases, your earnings, and the payout details you give us to pay you (such as a USDT or Bitcoin wallet address, or Nigerian bank account details). Payout details can only be changed with your password.
11. Website information: our website uses Google Analytics to understand how it is used (for example pages viewed, device type and approximate location). It also stores small items in your browser, such as a partner's referral code for up to 30 days and whether you closed an announcement.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate MorphCam.
• Process credit purchases and track credit balances.
• Provide customer support.
• Confirm that you are 18 or over and that your email address is real.
• Protect accounts, prevent fraud (such as fake accounts and referral abuse), and enforce our Acceptable Use Policy.
• Send you service-related communications, and — if you opt in — occasional product updates.

4. Third-party services

MorphCam relies on trusted third parties to operate:

• Cryptocurrency payments (Bitcoin, USDT, USDC, ETH or BNB) are made either through our crypto checkout providers, ATLOS and TargetPay, which receive the order and payment details needed to process and confirm your payment, or by manual transfer to wallets we control. These transactions are recorded on the relevant public blockchain, which is outside our control and not private.
• Decart provides the real-time AI video transformation and receives your live camera stream while you stream.
• Resend delivers our emails, so it receives your email address and the content of the emails we send you.
• Our team receives some internal alerts through Telegram. These alerts can include a customer's email address and payment details.
• Our servers are hosted by Vultr. Cloudflare provides our domain name (DNS) service, and app downloads are delivered through GitHub.
• Google Analytics measures visits to our website, and Formspree delivers messages and newsletter sign-ups sent through our website forms.

We share with these providers only what is necessary to deliver MorphCam.

5. Your video

Your camera video goes directly from your device to Decart, our AI provider, and the transformed video comes straight back to you. It does not pass through our servers, and MorphCam does not record or store your video or your streams.

6. Data retention

We keep account information, including your date of birth, for as long as your account is active, and transaction and payment records as required for legal, accounting, and security purposes. Email verification codes are deleted once used. Your last-used IP address is overwritten when it changes. Uploaded character images are deleted when your streaming session ends.

7. Safety and legal disclosures

To enforce our Acceptable Use Policy, we may review account activity, payment records and abuse reports, and keep the records we need to investigate misuse. We cooperate with law enforcement: we may share relevant information with the police or other authorities where the law requires it, or where we believe in good faith that it is needed to prevent fraud or protect someone from harm.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting support@usemorphcam.com. We will respond to reasonable requests in accordance with applicable law. You may unsubscribe from product update emails at any time.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information, including encryption of passwords and verification codes, limits on sign-in attempts, a private, team-only folder for payment proofs, and secure handling of payment processing. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

10. Children

MorphCam is only for adults aged 18 or over, and under-18s cannot use it. We ask for your date of birth at sign-up; if it shows you are under 18, the sign-up is refused and we do not store the date. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and delete their information, unless we must keep it for legal or safety reasons.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above.
