Is real-time AI face transformation safe? Our rules
Real-time AI can be used for fun, creativity and privacy, or misused to deceive people. Here's how MorphCam, the real-time AI character camera, draws that line, and what we do when someone crosses it.
In short
- MorphCam is for creators, streamers and entertainment, and it must always be disclosed as AI.
- It's for adults only (18+).
- Fraud, impersonating real people, passing identity or KYC checks, sextortion, harassment, hate, sexual content involving real people and anything involving minors are all banned.
- Violations lead to suspension without refund. We cooperate with law enforcement and act on every report.
What MorphCam is for
MorphCam lets you appear on camera as an original AI character that follows your real expressions and movements. Creators use it to make faceless content, streamers to build a character, educators to teach without putting their face online, and friends for fun calls. In every case the people watching or talking to you should know they're seeing an AI character. The character is the point.
What it must never be used for
- Fraud, scams, catfishing or romance scams
- Impersonating any real, identifiable person
- Passing or getting around identity, age or KYC verification, including selfie and liveness checks
- Sextortion, harassment, threats or hate
- Sexual content involving any real person
- Anything involving minors
- Presenting AI video as real footage of a real person

How we enforce it
- Real accounts. Every account is tied to a real email, and every payment is recorded and linked to the account it was made from.
- Review. We review accounts, especially any that are reported, and can ask for verification.
- Consequences. Accounts that break the rules are suspended or permanently banned, and their remaining credits are not refunded.
- Law enforcement. We cooperate with the police and other authorities and report unlawful activity.
Your privacy
- Your real camera and Preview are never shown in your call. The other person only receives your AI character.
- Hide my camera preview keeps your real camera off your own screen too, which is useful when you stream or record.
- MorphCam doesn't record or store your streams, and uploaded character images are deleted automatically after each session. See our Privacy Policy.
How to report misuse
If you believe MorphCam is being used to impersonate, scam or harm someone, email abuse@usemorphcam.com. Include what happened and when, where it happened, any links, usernames or screenshots, and the MorphCam account if you know it. A real person reads every report. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local police first.
Safety questions
Is MorphCam a deepfake tool?
No. MorphCam is for original AI characters, always disclosed as AI. Impersonating any real, identifiable person is banned.
Can MorphCam be used for identity or KYC verification?
No. Using MorphCam to pass or get around identity, age or KYC checks, including selfie and liveness checks, is banned and leads to a permanent ban.
What happens if someone breaks the rules?
Their account is suspended or permanently banned without refund, and we cooperate with law enforcement.
How do I report misuse?
Email abuse@usemorphcam.com with as much detail as you can. A real person reads every report.
